THE Lagos State Branch of the Nigeria Association of Road Transport Owners, NARTO, has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the investments of its members.
Speaking to Logistically Connected, the Deputy Chairman of NARTO Lagos State, Ayinla Kamaldeen, said the association had put structures in place to ensure that potential challenges capable of threatening members’ investments were identified and addressed before they escalated.
According to him, NARTO remains committed to providing solutions to challenges confronting its members and ensuring that their investments are adequately protected.
According to Kamaldeen, the association would continue to engage relevant government agencies on behalf of its members to safeguard their investments and address issues affecting their operations.
He noted that protecting investments in the haulage sector would ultimately benefit the wider economy, given the significant multiplier effects of sustained investment in road transportation and logistics.
He disclosed that NARTO had expanded its operations beyond Nigeria, with the association’s presence increasingly being felt across the West African sub-region.
